When was the last time you listened to a musical performance, watched a play or enjoyed a piece of art? The pandemic has certainly thrown a wrench in the way we usually integrate the arts in our lives, but fear not, the U is working hard to help all of us get our arts fix in safely this winter. Dec. 5–23, 2020 | Pioneer Theatre Company | Digital reading of “A Christmas Carol”
Pioneer Theatre Company presents Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” a digital reading of the beloved Christmas tale. Split into five parts, with 12 actors, previous readings will remain online for viewing at a later date. Watch here.
Dec. 12-31, 2020 | School of Music | U Opera’s “A Christmas Carol”
U Opera’s 2019 performance of “A Christmas Carol” will be available to stream throughout December. The production was awarded first place in the National Opera Association’s higher-ed Opera Production Competition 2019-20. Watch here.
