Tips, tricks and additional resources
Supercharge your commute! U students, faculty and staff ride for free on UTA buses, TRAX and the FrontRunner. That’s more than 60 bus stops and four TRAX stations on campus alone, but you can use your UCard for rides all over the valley! Learn more on our dedicated UTA webpage.
As part of our commitment to keep the U a safe place for current students, staff and faculty, Commuter Services also offers the SafeRide program. This program provides reliable and safe transportation from 6 p.m.–12:30 a.m. on weeknights within the university boundaries, including East Village. If you need an after-hours ride to your housing area or another building on campus, download the TransLoc app, log in to your university account, and request a ride.
In addition, campus shuttles operate in Research Park from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. If you need a ride to the University Hospital and Clinics in Research Park including Ortho, HMHI, Imaging, and Neurosciences after 6 p.m., call our Night On-Demand services at 801-231-9058 to make a request.
