The University of Utah will resume normal operations and class schedules tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Limited cooling in some campus buildings

The buildings will remain open during this time, and those using the spaces are encouraged to plan accordingly. Staff who are concerned may work with their supervisors to coordinate alternative work arrangements during this time. Faculty may check with the Scheduling Office regarding limited options for relocating classes. 

U of U alert: Attempted sexual assault

Attempted sexual assault at 12:50 a.m., in the Stadium parking lot. Suspect left eastbound in a truck on South Campus Drive. Police investigating.

Robbery alert

The University Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at 2:10 p.m. today west of the Marriott Library.

The U sent out a campus-wide notification just before 10 p.m., Nov. 15. Here is more information about the timing of the alert.

SLCPD seeking person of interest in homicide

The suspect was seen this morning (11 a.m.) on campus at the Marriott Library. He is considered armed and dangerous. Out of an abundance of caution, we are alerting campus and asking anyone with information to immediately call University Police Department Dispatch at 801-585-2677 or dial 911.
