U honors 11 vets with week of events

The 22nd Annual Veterans Day Commemoration Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, kicks off a week of events including a dodgeball tournament, a panel discussion on military dogs, a performance at Kingsbury Hall and military highlights at the football game.

The U launches a new series in @TheU designed to help students learn about campus resources designed to help them stay on track to graduate and build a competitive resume while still in school.

Politics and performance

Cynthia Chen, an honors music major with an emphasis in flute performance and a minor in political science, has masterfully found a way to combine her love of music performance and drive for social and cultural activism.


For most college students, the most thought put into food is whether one should eat pizza or ramen for dinner. For Erin Olschewski, a senior at the U, food is much more than what tastes good and fuels her body—it’s what’s guided her entire undergraduate career.
