Complimentary face coverings for students

All currently enrolled U students can pick up one free U branded adjustable face covering this fall to add to their personal supply. Face coverings are required this fall for all students, faculty, staff and visitors on the University of Utah campus.

Students must present a valid UCard at one of the three on-campus locations or the one U satellite facility in Sandy. The ID number will be recorded by a staff member and the student will be given one face covering. It’s recommended to wash the face covering before use. For those in need of a UCard, updated pick-up procedures can be found on the UCard Services website.

The Centers for Disease Control recommends washing face coverings after each use and washing your hands after handling or touching a used face covering. Face coverings can be included in regular laundry using laundry detergent and the warmest appropriate water setting for the cloth type. In the dryer, use the highest heat setting and leave in the dryer until completely dry.
