Red Butte Garden will close the Garden to guests from Monday, October 10 through Friday, October 14, to complete needed repairs to the visitor center and primary parking lot. A small number of staff will be onsite to continue outdoor garden maintenance.

According to executive director Derrek Hanson, “Along with resurfacing the parking lot, we will be laying conduit for electronic vehicle charging stations, which will be installed later next year. We also need to repair our HVAC system in the visitor center, so the heating and cooling will need to be shut down. We are taking this opportunity to do both projects at once to minimize disruptions for our guests. We look forward to reopening on Saturday, October 15.”
