I want to congratulate Dr. Mary Ann Villarreal on her appointment as vice president at the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AACU).

Dr. Villarreal served as the U’s inaugural vice president for equity, diversity, and inclusion and has been a trusted adviser to me during my time as president.
