Employee Appreciation Day (EAD) Virtual Bingo starts September 19th for University of Utah faculty and staff! Head to our Bingo website (University of Utah login credentials required) to participate. Bingo will be open from Monday, September 19 through Friday, September 23. This is a great alternative for employees who work from home or can’t attend our in-person EAD on Friday, September 23.
How to play
Participants will be able to upload selfies, photos or screenshots directly to corresponding bingo squares. For example, “Make a U block with your hands” or a photo with “your favorite at-home animal coworker!” Anyone who completes a line of five blocks – horizontal or diagonal – will be entered into a raffle for fabulous prizes, courtesy of our bingo sponsor, the Ken Garff Scholarship Club!
Prizes
- Grand Prize: 2 home game tickets to the Oregon State football game on October 1, 2022 with field club entry pre-game (you get to watch the Utes run out onto the field!)
- 2nd Grand Prize: $100 to the Ken Garff Scholarship Club restaurant
- 3rd Grand Prize: $50 to the Ken Garff Scholarship Club restaurant
- Plus additional U of U athletics swag for 15 additional bingo participants!
In-person at Rice-Eccles Stadium
More information about virtual bingo, and what to expect at our in-person EAD event on Friday, September 23 from 10 am – 2 pm at Rice-Eccles Stadium (including activities, parking & transportation, etc.) can be found on our Employee Appreciation Day website.
All attendees should bring their UCards to enter the event. Student-employees with a student UCard should email ead@utah.edu with their uNID. They will receive a confirmation email, and they should plan on bringing/showing this confirmation along with their UCard to enter this year’s festivities.
Thank you to our EAD Sponsors
A huge thank you for being this year’s Presenting Partner, TIAA! Be sure to pick up a tote bag (while supplies last) and free pizza at the concession stands courtesy of TIAA. You can also stop by their booth, located by the Gate D entrance, to find out how they can help you reach your financial goals. To learn more about TIAA’s relationship with the University of Utah or schedule an appointment with a TIAA financial consultant, go to tiaa.org/uofu, scroll down the page and look for “Schedule now.” You can meet in person at TIAA’s local office (505 Wakara Way) or virtually.
