BE WELL UTAH

What does it mean to “Be Well?” Come learn all about it at this weeklong celebration of wellness.

What does it mean to “be well?” Wellness doesn’t come in a pill prescribed by a doctor for temporary relief of a condition because of the unhealthy way we treat our bodies. Wellness comes from healing and maintaining a healthy mind, body and spirit through nourishing food, proper exercise and coping with stress resulting in an overall feeling of well-being.

At University of Utah Health Care, we understand that achieving and maintaining wellness is an ongoing process. We are committed to helping Utah families adopt ways they can enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

As part of this commitment, we have once again partnered with Regence BlueCross BlueShield to bring you Be Well Utah—a weeklong celebration to wellness. You are invited to participate in our many wellness activities for all ages from Aug. 15-22.

Then, join us at our Family Health Fair—our culminating event on Saturday, Aug. 22 at Rice Eccles Stadium, where you can expect free health screenings, interactive wellness displays, on-field activities and a Kids’ Corner with healthy snacks.

Save the date and check back here often for the latest details.

Moran Eye Center will be giving away a FREE LASIK procedure to one lucky winner. Register at the Skin & Vision Fair, the Farmers Market or at the Family Health Fair. (Exclusions: Only one entry can be submitted person, but is transferrable to your immediate family member if they are a candidate.
