The University of Utah will resume normal operations and class schedules tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 7. Crews have worked throughout the day to clear a significant amount of snow from roadways and sidewalks. Staff and students returning to campus tomorrow are encouraged to plan extra time for their commute and to be prepared for wet and possibly slippery walkways.


[Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:56 a.m.] CAMPUS TO REMAIN CLOSED TODAY

The university will remain closed and classes are cancelled for the rest of the day (Wednesday, Feb. 6) due to hazardous driving conditions and to give crews time to safely clear roadways and sidewalks. The university's health care system and hospitals will remain open, as will essential university functions. Groups who have scheduled events or meetings on campus are encouraged to reschedule.

The following is a safety message for our campus community. The University of Utah campus will be closed until at least noon today. Morning classes are cancelled. An update on afternoon and evening classes will be made by 10 a.m.

The U's health care system and hospitals will remain open, as will essential university functions. Staff should check with their immediate supervisors for more information about their individual units and departments.
