University of Utah President Ruth Watkins visited three parts of the state this summer, meeting with government, business, higher education and community leaders. The tour allowed President Watkins to learn business and community needs and challenges, from the demand for more engineers to supporting a diverse workforce. The president visited Moab and Green River on the third stage of the “Ruth 66 University for Utah Road Tour.”

Here is a recap:

Lunch at Chow Hound in Green River, where President Watkins met Morgan Bastian. Morgan visited campus recently for a U sports camp — and President Watkins told her she needs to come back!
