What sorts of images can I submit?
Any image you produce suring your scientific research such as microscopy, data graphs, 3-D renders, bioinformatics, etc. Winning images will be used for PR in advertisements and in social media to tell the world about the awesome science going on at the U. Therefore, we will only accept images if you are willing to use them for this aim and for wider distribution.

What do I write in the description?
We really want a simply-worded explanation of the graphic that non-scientists can understand. To make sure it is understandable to a wider public, see if it passes by someone who isn’t in science.

Be sure the image is at least 300dpi and at least 10 inches wide or tall. Images can be saved as .tif or .jpg.

How many images can I submit and what does it cost?
You may submit as many as you like and there is no charge to enter.

Who is eligible to participate?

What is the deadline?
Submissions will be accepted through Thursday, Nov. 10.The exhibit will be shown at the Marriott Library on level 3 and level 5 on Monday, Nov. 14, with an exhibition opening on Friday, Nov. 18.
