The Graduate School is pleased to announce that Dr. Tiffany Baffour has accepted the associate dean of graduate equity, diversity and inclusion effective June 1, 2022. Baffour will provide leadership and direction for the Graduate School’s Office of Diversity in her new role.
“Dr. Baffour’s leadership experience in equity, diversity and inclusion will be transformational for our increasingly diverse graduate and professional student community,” said Dave Kieda, dean of the Graduate School. “During the first year of her appointment, Dr. Baffour plans to listen to the needs of the community and work with partners across the university to develop and implement strategies to address these needs. Dr. Baffour’s graduate diversity team will significantly advance the success of our graduate and postdoctoral students.”
Baffour holds a Ph.D. in Social Work from Howard University and degrees from Bryn Mawr College, University of Delaware and New Jersey City University. Baffour has been an associate professor in the College of Social Work program since 2019. Baffour also served as the MSW program director before her appointment in the Graduate School.
