U Alumni Scholarship 5K

Sept. 21 | 8 a.m. | Block U

Join Swoop, cheerleaders, students, alumni and fans for U Alumni Scholarship 5K—a celebration featuring food, prizes, and U spirit from start to finish! To help raise money for scholarships, $5 from each registration will go towards the U Alumni scholarship fund. The first 500 registrants will receive special edition medals.

Black Homecoming at the U

Sept. 25 | 6 –8 p.m. | Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House – Henriksen Conference Room

Join us as we celebrate Black Homecoming at the U! In partnership with the Black Alumni and Friends Chapter and the Center for Cultural Engagement, U Alumni invite all alumni, no matter your background, to campus for a night of festivities and fun to celebrate our campus community. Our evening will feature an interactive panel discussion with alumni from the “Divine 9,” a group of Black fraternities and sororities talking about their history, importance to campus life, ad how they have developed the ultimate alumni network to support and build relationships across the country.

Humanities Alumni Social

Sept. 26 | 6 –8 p.m. | Squatters Pub Brewery

Humanities alumni—this night is for you! Join us to reconnect with fellow College of Humanities graduates, faculty, and staff. Assistant Professor Elizabeth Callaway will speak on “Why AI Needs the Humanities.” General updates from the College of Humanities will be provided as well as drinks and snacks.

U Alumni Golf Tournament

Sept. 27 | 9 a.m. | Bonneville Golf Course

Get into the spirit of Homecoming and enjoy a day on the course with other U alums and friends! This event features one of three categories—men’s, women’s, or mixed groups. There are also opportunities to sponsor a student(s) to play in the event. You may choose to have the students in your foursome or we’ll place them in another group.

U Alumni Pep Rally

Sept. 27 | 5–7 p.m. | Stillwell Field, Fort Douglas

Students, alumni, parents, and friends, Stillwell Field up near the University Residence Halls is the place to be for the U Alumni Pep Rally and Homecoming Festival! Join us for food trucks, yard games, inflatable games and performances from the Utah Band and Spirit Team as we cheer the Utes on to victory over the Arizona Wildcats. Students, stay after for the ASUU Homecoming Activity on Stillwell Field.

U Alumni and U of U Health Tailgate

Sept. 28 | 2.5 hours before kickoff | Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House

There’s no better way to get ready for the Homecoming football game against the Arizona Wildcats than with food, drinks, fun and lots of U alumni and fans! We have everything you need for the best game day experience.
