Protect yourself and your family by getting the seasonal flu and/or COVID vaccination at this year’s Employee Appreciation Day (EAD), taking place on Friday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The Moderna COVID vaccine will be available for primary vaccination and the Moderna Bivalent Vaccine will be available for booster doses. Anyone who hasn’t been received a booster in 2022 and has completed their primary series should consider receiving a bivalent booster dose as soon as possible. Are you up-to-date? Pre-registration is required if you are seeking a COVID vaccination. Please head to our COVID vaccination registration website to sign up. You can also access this registration website through a QR code located at the flu shot clinic area the day of the event, but we highly encourage you to register ahead of time to ensure we have enough vaccines available.”
If you can’t make this year’s EAD vaccination clinic, there are several other ways to get your flu or COVID vaccination this year. Community Nursing Services (CNS) will be on campus every Thursday afternoon at the C Roland Christensen Building (1645 Campus Center Drive, Building 77) offering COVID and flu vaccinations through fall semester. For more information, please click here.
Vaccines will be available at your local pharmacy, through your health provider’s office, or through the RedMed Clinic (RedMed is also available to assist with workplace injuries, general medicine, first, aid, etc. Check out their website for more information). Departments may also coordinate their own flu shot clinic with CNS by contacting Yvette Tani at 801-410-8081 or yvette.tani@cns-cares.org.
