The Beacons of Excellence Awards is one way to recognize the people, programs and projects committed to making your education an exceptional one. Our goal is to highlight the achievements of the many who make the university a beacon of excellence.
The six Beacons of Excellence awards celebrate “best practices” found across campus, including labs, student clubs, individuals, centers and more. Since the award was created in 2012, hundreds of nominations have been submitted by students, faculty, staff and community members.
Please nominate a person, program or project that should be recognized for contributions to an exceptional undergraduate education experience at the University of Utah.
