ASUU provides resources, services, programming and funding for students to attend conferences and for student organizations. Resources including legal assistance for students, services including childcare and tutoring, programming including free films and concerts. Most importantly, ASUU has representation on all student issues like tuition and student fees. It is time to get involved and have your say by voting in ASUU elections.
How to vote
Voting will take place March 2-5. There will be voting stations throughout campus located at the Marriott Library, Heritage Center and Student Life Center. Students can also vote by logging into their CIS page and clicking the “Vote” link. To find out more about the candidates, please visit the ASUU elections page.
Tired of being badgered?
Are people always bothering you about voting? We are also introducing the “Stop Badgering Me” button. Students who vote will receive this free button. Parties are instructed not to bother students who wear this button during elections.
Free stuff
ASUU wants to make your voting experience worthwhile and reward students who participate in student body elections. For students who take the time to vote, ASUU will be handing out a $5 food voucher redeemable at several food trucks on campus or a U beanie. Make sure and vote early, these items will go fast.
Get involved
ASUU will be announcing the results of the elections on March 6 at 10 a.m. in the Union. After this announcement, the process will begin to put out applications for several paid leadership positions. Watch the ASUU website for more information and don’t miss out on being a part of ASUU.
