Child care openings on campus

The Center for Child Care and Family Resources has a new tool to help parents easily identify child care availabilities on campus.

The Center for Child Care and Family Resources has a new tool to help parents easily identify child care availabilities on campus. The new addition to the site can be accessed via the View Child Care Openings button on the Child Care homepage and will be updated weekly.

“Our child care locations across campus, currently have the capacity to serve more families with children from 6 weeks old to 10 years of age,” said Shauna Lower, director, Center for Child Care and Family Resources. “Finding reliable child care has been a challenge for many parents. This at-a-glance tool will help our U community find and engage with our campus care options more quickly and reliably.”

The openings page lists six center locations, for students and staff, and identifies the various age groups, full-time options and part-time blocks of time from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday. Direct links have been made available to multiple locations to make the application process as quick and easy as possible.
