Welcome to a new academic year at the University of Utah. Whether you are new to campus, starting your sophomore year or embarking on your last semester at the U, we hope you join us at Welcome Week 2017.

Coordinated by the Center for New Student & Family Programs, Welcome Week began Thursday, Aug. 17, and continues through Friday, Aug. 25.

Welcome Week is an exciting time on campus for all new and returning students at the U. Offices across campus kick-off a new academic year with events and opportunities for students to get involved. These programs are designed to help you discover ways to make the most of your college experience and, of course, get free food. To access the full Welcome Week schedule, download the New to the U app.

Once you have downloaded the app, you will have access to the entire Welcome Week schedule of events. Students can browse the full schedule of events, filter by date, categories or keywords and add specific events to their personal calendars. Select events are highlighted below, but all events can be found on the, “New to the U” app.
