ROWE’S FAMILY PUSHES HER TO ALL-AROUND LEVEL
Heading into last summer the future didn’t look very bright for Red Rock sophomore Baely Rowe.
During her freshman season, Rowe hadn’t lived up to her coaches’ expectations, and concern was creeping in if she ever would become the gymnast the Utah coaching staff thought she could be.

Since the center opened its doors on Jan. 12 a steady flow of students have been coming in and out. Ying Tan, a sophomore in sociology and marketing, goes to the center often, and she particularly likes the rock climbing wall.
“When you walk inside of the Student Life Center, it’s like you are in a completely different world,” Tan said. “You leave the world of books and tests and deadlines behind, and you walk through the doors and have a place to exercise and let go of the stress.”

When Emma Jackson received her mission call from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to South Carolina, her best friend Gina Allyn came up with a way to talk to Jackson while the two were apart.
