Tuition reduction application deadline approaching

Applications for tuition reduction are due before the first day of each semester – Applications for the Fall 2024 semester must be submitted on or before Sunday, August 18, 2024. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Eligibility rules, IRS rules, and additional information are available on UHRM’s Tuition Reduction web page.

If you are only taking a Continuing Education/Lifelong Learning class, the deadline to apply is the day before the class begins.

To apply for tuition reduction, log into UBenefits and click the “Tuition Reduction” tile.

If you have already completed the application, you will see the discount on your tuition statement once the semester begins.

As we have previously communicated, effective with the Fall 2024 semester, the employee tuition benefit will apply to base undergraduate tuition, base graduate tuition, and undergraduate differential tuition. It will not apply to graduate differential tuition unless the student is eligible for the legacy benefit (see the Eligible Tuition section of the Tuition Reduction web page for information).
