Nominations for this year’s University of Utah Staff Excellence Awards are now open. If you have a staff colleague who goes above and beyond the scope of their duties, or you supervise someone who deserves university-wide recognition for their superior service, consider submitting an online nomination now through Monday, June 30, 2025.
The University of Utah Staff Excellence program recognizes superior service and ongoing contributions by both full-time and part-time staff members. Twenty-four full-time awards and four part-time awards will be given across four districts. From the pool of 24 full-time district winners, eight finalists will be selected as the University of Utah Staff Excellence Awards winners and will receive a $3,750 honorarium and personalized plaque presented at our annual awards ceremony in fall 2025.
Nominations should be made in line with the university’s Six Commitments to Our Community. Nominators should be prepared to demonstrate how their nominee exemplifies at least one or more of these commitments in their work and contributions to the University of Utah.
