National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine Town Hall: Integration in Higher Education

Attendees will have an opportunity to hear about successful integrative programs across the country.

On March 30, 2020, from 9:00a.m. to 12p.m. representatives from the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine and the Alliance for the Arts in Research Universities will present the findings of a study examining the evidence behind the assertion that educational programs that mutually integrate learning experiences in the humanities and arts with science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine (STEMM) lead to improved educational and career outcomes for undergraduate and graduate students. Attendees will have an opportunity to hear about successful integrative programs across the country and to connect with colleagues who are pursuing integration here at the University of Utah.
