Mental health help available through the Employee Assistance Program

According to a report published by the Utah Women and Leadership Project, suicide is the 8th leading cause of death in Utah and an average of 70 Utahns are treated for self-inflicted injuries per day.  See the full report here.

The University’s Employee Assistance Program is here to help.  Through the end of 2022, the EAP is open to all faculty and staff, regardless of benefits eligibility.  Employees, their spouses, partners, and children can schedule an appointment with a licensed therapist by calling (801) 587-9319 or (800) 926-9619.
