Academic Senate meeting on April 28

Academic Senate -

The next Academic Senate meeting is Monday, April 28, from 3-5:30 p.m. The following items will be discussed, among others:

  • Proposal for a new Electrical Engineering Minor
  • Proposal for a new Legal Studies B.A./B.S.
  • Program Restructure Proposals for the following nursing programs
    • Nursing B.S.
    • Nursing M.S.
    • Nursing Ph.D.
    • Doctor of Nursing Practice
  • Senate Personnel and Elections Committee Annual Report and Senate Leadership Elections
  • Senate Advisory Committee on University Strategic Planning Annual Report
  • Policy Updates for the following:
    • Policy 3-030, R3-030A and R3-030B: Travel Policy and Rule Updates
    • Revision to Policy 1-011 to Comply with the Federal Stop Campus Hazing Act

The meeting will be held on the Zoom online meeting platform, and its agenda is available here.

Senate meetings are public, and the University of Utah community and others are welcome to participate. If you want to attend the senate Zoom meeting, email a request to the Secretary of the Senate Jane Laird (jane.laird@utah.edu) by Thursday, April 24.
