High school football is heading to Rice-Eccles Stadium! During the month of November, the University of Utah will host 4A, 5A and 6A games for the 2023 Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) football championships. Games will be held on two consecutive weekends. Learn more about the 2023 UHSAA games here.

On Thursday, Nov. 9, and Friday, Nov. 10, the stadium will host the semifinal games for the three divisions. Championship games will be held at the stadium on Nov. 17. Campus will likely see traffic congestion during the crossover times, approximately 45 minutes before and after each game. Game start times are listed below. Roadway impacts

The far north, westbound, lane along 500 North from Guardsman Way to University Street, will be closed to through traffic. The lane will be utilized by school buses for pick up and drop off.
