Registration for Strong Start is now open.
Strong Start is a University of Utah Summer Bridge offered through the Office of Undergraduate Studies for incoming students who do not have any prior college or university experience. The purpose of the program is to help students acclimate to life at the U and set them up to thrive during their college experience.
During Strong Start, students will live in the residence halls, enroll in classes and explore the University of Utah through various experiences and workshops.
Students will enroll in six to seven credit hours for the program and can choose between Writing 1010, Math 1030 or Math 1050. All students will take Intro to Design Thinking (DES 2615). Students will also have the opportunity to earn a credential through Adobe if they choose to do so.
Strong Start runs from June 23- Aug. 2, the second half of the U’s summer semester.
The application deadline for Strong Start is Monday, April 3. For more information, visit us.utah.edu/strongstart.php or email strongstart@utah.edu.
