Academic Senate meeting on Aug. 24

Academic Senate

The first Academic Senate meeting of the year is Monday, Aug. 24, from 3-5:30 p.m. Visit the Academic Senate website at academic-senate.utah.edu for more information.

The Academic Senate is a body of elected students and faculty that reviews and discusses matters of academic significance at the University of Utah.

The following items will be presented, among others:

  • New Doctor of Physician Assistant Studies
  • A New Institute for Digital Experience (iDX)
  • New Minor in Sport Administration
  • Prison Education Action Research Lab (PEARL)
  • Senator Profile of the Month

The meeting will be held on the Zoom online meeting platform, and its agenda is available online.

Academic Senate meetings are public, and the university community and others are welcome to attend. If you want to attend the Zoom meeting, email a link request to the secretary of the Academic Senate, Jane Laird, at jane.laird@utah.edu by Thursday, Aug. 20.
