Oct. 9, 2018, the annual Walk After Dark for the university campus was conducted to survey exterior lighting levels and other potential hazards present on campus. During this event, volunteers walk every sidewalk on the 1534-acre campus.
This year’s event was a great success with 173 participants from a number of different organizations on campus. Volunteers looked for burnt out light fixtures and overgrown bushes. We would like to thank all of the people who invested their time and energy to make this such a successful event. Facilities Management is already working hard to address each issue identified during the event.
Thank you again to all the people who volunteered for the Walk After Dark.
