Since 2015, the Emeritus Alumni Board has coordinated the U’s Alumni Ambassador Program to promote the FanUP initiative. The alumni ambassadors are an enthusiastic group of volunteers who attend the home football games. They arrive early to welcome fans and promote goodwill to all alumni, students, community fans and visiting team fans.
The U wants passionate Ute fans over 21 years old interested in welcoming all fans to the game and making Rice-Eccles Stadium the most fan-friendly venue in the country.
Season ticket holder? FANtastic! Don’t have season tickets? No problem, you’ll still be close to the action on game day.
Want to become an ambassador for the 2018 season? Join now.
Loyal Ute fans have experienced it all. The high of winning the big game and the low of a hard-fought loss. They have visited the cathedrals of collegiate athletics and been treated as welcome guests. Let’s continue our positive path and FanUP to stake our claim as one of the best fan bases in the nation.
Learn more about FanUP and take the pledge here. The FanUP Pledge reminds us what is expected from a great fan base. We hope our fans, as well as those visiting, will come away having experienced one of the best game-day atmospheres around.
I WILL
- Love our Utes and welcome visiting teams and their fans.
- Promote a family friendly experience.
- Enjoy the game responsibly.
- Cheer loud and be Ute Proud!
