Many of you have already dusted off your backyard grill in preparation for a summer of grilling fun, but did you know that there is a right way and a wrong way to grill? Research has shown that overcooking and under cooking your food on a grill can increase your risk for illness and possibly cancer. But if you’re heading to a salon for a pampering pedicure, don’t leave with more than you bargained for. “Infections after manicures and pedicures, including bacterial infections and athlete’s foot, can occur if certain precautions are not taken,” says Erika Summers, M.D., a dermatologist at University of Utah Health Care.
