Workshop: Integrate sustainability into your classroom

The Wasatch Experience engages educators in a two-day workshop on integrating ecology, economy, and equity into curriculum. Upon completion, participants can apply for a grant or teaching assistant award through the Sustainability Teaching Scholars Program.

Looking for ways to integrate sustainability into your classroom? 

The Wasatch Experience engages educators in a two-day workshop on integrating ecologyeconomy, and equity into the curriculum across campus. Upon program completion of the two-day workshop participants will become eligible to apply for a small grant or teaching assistant award through the Sustainability Teaching Scholars Program.

Wasatch Experience 2022

The 2022 Wasatch Experience Workshop theme is “Campus as a Living Lab,” and will take place May 18 & 19 on the U of U campus.

Highlights include:

  • Using campus as living lab to integrate sustainability education
  • Working in small groups to develop sustainability course content
  • Hearing from U Health partners working on sustainability initiatives
  • Field trip to Red Butte Creek to see how faculty use campus as a living lab
