Are you having issues with your GasCard? Perhaps you’re using the outdated version. Fleet Services mailed new GasCards to all departments with university vehicles in May 2020. Authorized employees are required to use the new GasCard when fueling department vehicles.
The new GasCard system offers better security and is accepted at more fuel stations across the state. Cardholders can download the user-friendly Wex Connect app, available on the App Store and Google Play, to find the nearest fuel stations that accept the new GasCard.
Authorized users must use the GasCard specifically assigned to the university vehicle. When fueling, you must enter your personal identification number (PIN) and the accurate odometer reading number. Incorrect odometer reading entries are subject to fines by the State of Utah at a minimum of $50 per occurrence.
The older GasCards expired on June 30, 2020. Email lily.ferrell@utah.edu if you did not receive an upgraded GasCard for your department vehicle. Visit the Fleet Services website for more information about university vehicles, rentals and maintenance.
