U virtual backgrounds for Zoom video conferences

You can take campus with you into your virtual workspaces.

As the world and the U community adjusts to the new normal of working, learning and living from a distance we are seeing a rise in the use of video conferencing. If you have participated in a recent Zoom video conference or watched any nightly news broadcast, you have gotten a sneak-peek into the lives of co-workers living room walls and the bookshelves of political commentators.

The University of Utah Marketing team suggests there is a way to spruce up your background without having to paint or organize – use a virtual background. The team has created two dozen University of Utah Zoom virtual backgrounds featuring iconic campus spots like the 20-yard line of Rice-Eccles stadium and the student life center rock climbing wall. Have a little fun and show school spirit while you practice physical distancing and participant in your daily Zoom meetings.
