Last week our campus community was the target of racist and vile language targeting our African American colleagues and peers. The University Police Department, Office of the Dean of Students, Office of Diverse Student Advocacy and UIT are currently working on addressing this issue. We will make every effort to block the sender and ensure the safety of everyone on our campus, particularly those targeted. We will not allow hate to divide our community and create a climate of fear.
