The American Institute of Chemists unanimously selected U distinguished professor Peter Stang as the 2020 recipient of the institute’s Gold Medal. The medal, awarded since 1926, is the AIC’s highest honor and recognizes excellence and contributions to society in the chemical professions. Past awardees include 11 Nobel laureates.
