Do you have a colleague who goes above and beyond? Or a team member whom you wish to recognize beyond the scope of their immediate area/department? If so, then consider submitting a nomination for this year’s University of Utah Staff Excellence Awards! Nominations for the will open on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 on our online nomination website and close on Sunday, June 30.

The University of Utah Staff Excellence program recognizes superior service and ongoing contributions by both full-time and part-time staff members. Twenty-four full-time awards and four part-time awards will be given across four Districts. From the pool of twenty-four full-time District winners, eight finalists will be selected as the University of Utah Staff Excellence Awards winners and will receive a $3,750 honorarium and personalized plaque presented at our annual awards ceremony in Fall 2024.

Nominations should be made in line with the University’s Six Commitments to Our Community. Nominators should be prepared to demonstrate how your nominee exemplifies at least one or more of these commitments in their work and contributions to the University of Utah.
