Get prepared before the holiday season hits and submit your textbook adoptions to the University Campus Store before it’s too late.

Get prepared before the holiday season hits and submit your textbook adoptions to the University Campus Store before it’s too late.

Spring 2020 course material and textbook adoptions are due by Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, to ensure books arrive on time. Submitting adoptions is as easy—simply complete the Campus Store’s online textbook adoption form and cross this to-do item off your list.

Why so early?

The prompt submission of textbook adoptions by faculty each semester enables the Campus Store to stock books in a timely manner and increases the chances of offering less expensive textbooks, which can help students save up to 80% off of new book prices. Additionally, students can get more cash back at the store’s end of semester buyback event if their textbooks have been adopted for the following semester.

And finally, it’s the law to adopt textbooks early. The Higher Education Opportunity Act requires that all course materials and their associated costs be disclosed at the time students register for courses (HEOA Sec 133).

The Campus Store relies heavily on your timely response—as do your students—so please do not delay.

For more information or assistance with textbook adoptions or the Inclusive Access program, please contact Heidi Booth at 801-581-5965 or hbooth@CampusStore.utah.edu or Kim Kilpatrick at 801-581-3158 or kkilpatrick@CampusStore.utah.edu

Thanks for your support of these student-serving initiatives, have a great semester.
