This week marks one year since life as we know it changed completely. Within that time, more than 200 scientists from across the U have risen to the occasion, using their expertise to understand the nature of the novel coronavirus and its enormous effect on society. Investigators from nearly every discipline are leading projects to study the virus from all angles—from testing and vaccine trials to its impact on vulnerable communities and rates of domestic violence.
