Red Butte Garden resumes outdoor concert series

Artists are being booked for August and September, and a line up is expected to be announced in early June.

Red Butte Garden deputy director Derrek Hanson announced today that plans are underway to resume its award-winning Outdoor Concert Series later this summer. Hanson and his team are busy booking artists for shows in August and September with the expectation that the full lineup will be announced the first week in June. Tickets will go on sale June 21 for Garden members (membership-level restrictions apply) and for the general public on June 28. Details for purchasing tickets will be available soon on the Red Butte Garden website redbuttegarden.org/concerts.

Utah’s statewide mask mandate was lifted on April 10, 2021, but the University of Utah and Red Butte Garden still require the use of face coverings indoors, and outdoors when guests are not socially distanced. As the situation evolves over the next few months, restrictions may change and any impact for concert-goers will be posted on the Red Butte Garden website.
