Construction is beginning on the new Impact & Prosperity Epicenter located on Student Life Way, just East of Lassonde Studios. The Impact & Prosperity Epicenter will be a new multidisciplinary hub for social impact, community engagement, and enterprise, empowering social entrepreneurs and organizations. The building will provide housing for an international population of students participating in the center’s programs with up to 775 beds in individual room and apartment configurations, opening Fall of 2024.
Student Life Way will remain open throughout construction, along with the Lassonde Studios parking lot. In addition, the surrounding sports fields will remain open and unobstructed. Please be aware of the following campus impacts in the coming weeks:
- Construction site safety fencing installation is occurring around the project zone.
- Parking lot #24 will permanently close on August 8.
- The sidewalk and bicycle path in front of the construction zone will also be closed. Pedestrians and cyclists turning onto Student Life Way from Wasatch Drive will have signage directing them around the closure.
- Disc golf holes #8 and #9 will have minor relocations.
