University of Utah women’s basketball forward Megan Huff was selected by the New York Liberty with the 26th pick overall and the second in the third round in the 2019 WNBA draft.
Huff is the sixth player in Utah women’s basketball history to be drafted by the WNBA and the first for head coach Lynne Roberts.
“We are so proud of Megan,” Roberts said. “In my talking with a lot of teams in the WNBA in the last month, everyone is aware of her huge upside. The New York Liberty is getting a tremendous talent with so much potential to grow. We are proud of her and we are so happy to have another Ute in the league.”
