Every year, 100% of sales from NHMU’s Indigenous Art Market go directly to the artists.

Note: NHMU/University of Utah (“NHMU”) are not responsible for any sales. All sales are negotiated directly with the artist, who is operating independently from NHMU.

Tribal Member discount

Guests enrolled with a federally or state-recognized tribe in the United States of America, including any children in their household, are eligible for free admission to NHMU. Redemption of this discount requires the presentation of a tribal enrollment card or tribal ID at the time of the visit.

Tribal members may also request a visit to the anthropology collections at NHMU. We welcome and encourage tribal nations to use the collections. Please email requests to the anthropology collections manager at gnielsen@nhmu.utah.edu at least two weeks in advance.
