The university and surrounding Salt Lake City neighborhoods are prohibited from using any kind of fireworks during the July holidays (see the map). Fireworks and open fires of any kind are not allowed.  If grilling, grill only in University designated sites. A working fire extinguisher must be present and grills should never be unattended.
