Both Pinker’s research and writing have earned him numerous awards and accolades, including recognition as one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, as a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist, and Humanist of the Year.

Pinker’s Lecture Series presentation, “Progress in a Time of the Pandemic,” will make the case for reason, science, and humanism—while placing pandemics in the bigger picture of human history and biology—to shift our perspectives and better understand the world.
