As the Utah Utes gear up for their highly anticipated first season as members of the Big 12, the Student Parent Support Center is excited to make game day preparations a breeze for parents with young children through their Crimson Kids child care services. The program is designed to cater to children aged 6 weeks to 10 years old.

The Crimson Kids child care center, conveniently located in the Guardsman Way tailgate parking lot (545 S. Guardsman Way), operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The service provides a range of activities for children, ensuring they have a fun-filled day while their parents immerse themselves in the game day atmosphere.

Service details and pricing

For student parents, the child care service is free of charge. Other parents can also take advantage of this service at a rate of $16 per hour for the first child and $12 per hour for each additional child. Payments can be made in one-hour increments. Additionally, parents who choose to pay ahead of time can benefit from VIP pricing, which reduces the cost to $15 per hour for the first child and $10 per hour for each additional child.

Parental notifications 

Parents will receive text notifications if they need to assist in emergencies. The strategic location of the center within the tailgating parking lot ensures that parents remain close to the action and can quickly return to the tailgate experience or game. To maintain a safe and clean environment, food and drinks are prohibited within the center, and children are required to wear shoes at all times.

Quick sign-in process and regulations

The sign-in process is designed to be swift and efficient, usually taking no more than five minutes. Parents must bring an ID for verification.

Crimson Kids giveaway for student parents

In addition to the child care services, Crimson Kids is hosting a special giveaway for student parents. The giveaway runs before each game, and participants can enter at any time for any of the games by emailing crimsonkids@sa.utah.edu. In their email, participants should specify the game they are interested in. Winners are selected two days before game day, and notifications are sent to the email address used to enter.

Please note that only student parents (not just students) are eligible to participate in the giveaway.
