COVID-19 vaccine available to Utahns 16 and older starting March 24

There more people vaccinated, the sooner we reach herd immunity.

Good news! Starting on March 24, anyone who lives in Utah will be eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 vaccines have proven to be exceptionally safe and effective at protecting you from getting seriously ill from COVID-19. And getting vaccinated is an important step toward getting life back to normal. Learn more at UofUHealth.org/vaccine.

Here are three ways to find out when and where to get vaccine.

  1. COVID-19 vaccines are available at local health departments, local pharmacies and many healthcare providers. Go to coronavirus.utah.gov/vaccine-distribution or VaccineFinder.org to find vaccine providers in Utah and schedule an appointment.
  2. If you live in Utah and have had an appointment at University of Utah Health within the last three years, you can log into your MyChart account, check your To Do list and schedule an appointment. Appointments fill up quickly but new ones become available on a regular basis. Check back often.
  3. If you need scheduling assistance or have questions about the COVID-19 vaccine, call the University of Utah Health Hotline at 801-587-0712 or (toll free) 844-745-9325.
