Call for applications: 2020 Global Learning Retreat

The Office for Global Engagement (OGE) at the University of Utah invites faculty, administrators and staff to apply for a retreat focused on global learning in beautiful Centennial Valley, Montana, in the relaxing setting of the Taft Nicholson Environmental Humanities Center. The purpose of the retreat is to improve teaching and learning in Utah for students to develop global competence preparing them for success in a globalized and interconnected world. This exceptional professional development opportunity includes workshops on integrating global learning in courses and program curricula facilitated by internationally recognized experts in global learning from Florida International University as well as University of Utah faculty. Build a network of colleagues implementing global learning in their courses, work on your own global learning outcomes with input from others and explore Centennial Valley and Red Rocks National Wildlife Refuge.

The retreat is open to faculty, administrators and staff from all Utah higher education institutions. There are two sessions to choose from that will have different facilitators, but will generally cover the same topics.
