Billy Joel and Sting to perform live at Rice-Eccles Stadium

Billy Joel and Sting will perform a one-night-only concert of their best-known hits at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. at livenation.com.

The concert, filled with the musicians’ most popular songs from throughout their careers, marks their first performance together at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Joel returns to Utah for the first time since 2017 while Sting follows up on a 2023 appearance in Salt Lake City.

“You have become a market that is a destination for music artists of all sizes, from clubs to stadiums,” said Jason Farrell, president of Live Nation Utah as he announced their first concert together. “And there’s a reason why. We, in Utah, have hands down, the greatest fans in the entire world.

“There is a magic at these shows, and there’s an energy that is created by community-minded fans that want to share an experience, and it creates something magical.”

Citi card members will have access to presale tickets beginning Monday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. until Thursday, Oct. 3 at 10 p.m. through the Citi Entertainment program.
