Become a 2020 Orientation Leader

Take advantage of a unique leadership opportunity and help welcome new students to the U.

The Office of Orientation & Transition is looking for students to “Hop on the 2020 Orientation Leader Express.” Applications for the team of 2020 Orientation Leaders are now open. This office has the primary focus of assisting new students and their families as they transition to the university through comprehensive programs that take place throughout the calendar year.

To support these efforts, Orientation Leaders help facilitate multiple sessions of first-year, transfer and parent orientation during the fall, spring and summer semesters. Being an Orientation Leaders is a great way to develop leadership and interpersonal skills. It is also is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to work directly with campus partners and college coordinators. Orientation Leaders are compensated in the form of a summer stipend, free on-campus summer housing, free meals and great memories.

You must be a full-time undergraduate student for the 2019-20 school year to apply and must commit to an employment period of January-August 2020.
